About Lachlan
Lachlan started at Brilliant Minds Psychology in January 2021. Lachlan is a fully Registered Psychologist with AHPRA. Lachlan was selected to work at Brilliant Minds Psychology due to his compassion and empathy for clients and desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Lachlan completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science, With Honours in 2018 from the University of Queensland.Since this time Lachlan has worked in Community Services throughout 2019 and 2020 in an organisation that looked after aged care, mental health and disability clients. This has provided him with valuable experience working with people from all walks of life.
Lachlan is currently working as a General Registered Psychologist with an interest in the psychology of children, adolescents, and older adults. He is a welcoming and sociable man who provides a friendly and open space for clients to feel heard while engaging in solution focussed approaches, tailored to each person. Lachlan strives to maintain therapeutic space that is engaging, motivated and empathetic to his clients’ needs. He is determined to help his clients develop the skills they need to meet day to day challenges. Lachlan works with children with anxiety conditions and with neurodiverse presentations across the lifespan.
