What does an Occupational Therapist (OT) do and does my child need OT?

We aim to help Children Thrive in all areas of their lives. Our warm and friendly occupational therapists have experience in providing a wide range of services to many different children at different stages of development. Occupational Therapy for children includes working with children from birth to age 18 to develop skills, confidence and independence to do the things that they want and need to do to live healthy, fulfilling lives. An occupational therapist works with children with a range of diagnosis including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD); mental health concerns such as anxiety and trauma; Global developmental Delay (GDD); Intellectual Impairment (II), sensory regulation difficulties (Sensory Processing Disorder), developmental disorders such as Dyspraxia and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), genetic conditions such as Down's Syndrome, neurological conditions such as Stroke and various other conditions.
