About Courtney

Courtney is our wonderful Allied Health Assistant (AHA) and is currently in her 4th and final year of studying Occupational Therapy! Courtney currently supports the Occupational Therapy Team.

So, what does an AHA do?
An Allied Health Assistant works with clients under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist, helping provide more frequent therapy support at a lower cost, while still receiving clinical oversight from an OT.

Courtney can support clients with:

  • Practising therapy goals and activities
  • Supporting therapy program implementation
  • Community, school and kindergarten visits
  • Developing therapy resources
  • Supporting home practice programs

All therapy programs are developed and supervised by a registered Occupational Therapist, who remains responsible for assessments, clinical decision-making, goal setting and progress reviews.

For NDIS participants: AHA supports may be claimable under relevant NDIS pricing arrangements, depending on your individual plan and funding.
We’re so excited to have Courtney supporting our clients and families!
