NEW CLIENT ENQUIRY

Rachel Noonan

Senior Occupational Therapist Workdays: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Rachel graduated from the University of Queensland in 2020 with a Master of Occupational Therapy and has since gained experience working with paediatric clients across both private practice and community settings. She is passionate about supporting children and their families through a neuroaffirming, strengths-based lens - prioritising the therapeutic relationship, celebrating each child’s individuality, and making therapy engaging and fun.

  • Rachel is especially committed to a collaborative, family-centred approach. She believes that real progress happens when parents and caregivers feel empowered, confident, and involved in the therapeutic journey. By working closely with families, Rachel helps them build practical skills and strategies that can be used in everyday routines to create meaningful and lasting change.

  • Rachel has a special interest in the role of play in child development. She views play not only as a natural and essential part of childhood, but as a powerful vehicle for learning, connection, and emotional growth. In her practice, she uses play-based interventions to support the development of motor skills, communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence. Rachel recognises that through play, children explore their world, develop a sense of self, and learn how to relate to others - making it one of the most effective ways to support a child's developmental goals
