Package 5: Feeding Assessment
Our Occupational Therapists at Brilliant Minds Psychology are trained in Feeding Assessment. This assessment package includes an initial intake parent/caregiver session to gather information relating to your child’s current and historic feeding behaviour, followed by an observational assessment of your child’s feeding behaviour, oral motor skills, gross and fine motor skills. A standardised sensory assessment will also form part of the assessment process. A report will be generated to provide an evaluation of your child’s feeding capacity as well as recommendations to foster your child’s competence in feeding and eating.
