Package 2: Educational and Learning Assessment
- This package is available for children from 6 years of age.
- The 'Educational and Learning Assessment' package is the package to choose when your child is having difficulties including learning difficulties, reaching educational goals, ADHD related concerns, emotional and/or social difficulties. The assessment helps you to understand the reasons for your child's difficulties and other factors that may be impacting your child's learning.
- In this package, we complete a cognitive assessment that reviews your child's learning styles and identifies their strengths and weaknesses. Academic Achievement testing is conducted as part of this assessment. The package will provide a diagnosis of any Specific Learning Disorders if present in your child's profile such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and/or Dysgraphia. At the time of assessment, ADHD and executive functioning difficulties will be reviewed. As
- part of the package, a comprehensive report and recommendations will be provided.
- A series of questionnaires are sent to parents/guardians and teachers.
- This package includes:
- Session 1: Parent/Guardian Only Intake Session (1 Hour) - No children are to attend the intake session. This session can be conducted in clinic or via Telehealth.
- Session 2: Cognitive Assessment with Child - WISC-V (2 Hours)
- Session 3: Academic Assessment with Child - WIAT-III (3 Hours)
- Session 4: Parent/Guardian Feedback Session (1 Hour)
- A comprehensive written report is provided as part of this package. Please note that there is a two to three week turn around for report writing. There is a four week turnaround for report writing if the assessment is completed with a Provisional Psychologist. You will be provided
- with this information at the time of booking an assessment.
- A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
- This assessment is based on 13 hours of clinical time.
- This assessment is not covered by Medicare. If you have private health insurance, please contact your provider to see how much they can cover for you. The private health code for assessment is 100
