Mya Tartaglia
Practice Manager
Mya is the Clinic Manager at Brilliant Minds Allied Health and has been part of her family’s business since 2014. She first joined the clinic working in reception and, over the years, has grown alongside the practice, eventually transitioning into a management role where she now supports the day-to-day operations, team, systems and ongoing development of Brilliant Minds.
Being part of her family’s business is incredibly important to Mya, and she takes great pride in what Brilliant Minds represents and the community it supports. Having worked within the clinic from a young age and across different stages of its growth, she has developed a strong appreciation for the experience of both clients and families from the moment they first make contact.
Mya holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and is currently completing her Juris Doctor. She has a particular interest in policy, procedures, governance and the systems that support the delivery of ethical and high-quality allied health services. Mya also regularly attends LawSense seminars and values continuing to develop her knowledge in areas relevant to practice management, workplace processes and the broader allied health environment.
A significant focus of Mya’s role is making the process of seeking therapy feel as smooth and approachable as possible. She is passionate about creating a clinic that feels welcoming, warm and homely, where clients and families feel comfortable and supported rather than overwhelmed by the process of accessing services.
Supporting and giving back to the local community is also something Mya cares deeply about. She enjoys finding opportunities for Brilliant Minds to support charities, community initiatives and causes that make a meaningful difference to individuals and families. For Mya, being part of a local family business also means having a responsibility to contribute positively to the community that has supported Brilliant Minds over the years.
Within the clinic, Mya enjoys working behind the scenes to support the team and continually improve the way Brilliant Minds operates. Whether she is developing policies and processes, supporting staff, improving the client journey or helping create a welcoming clinic environment, planning fun team activities, she is passionate about ensuring Brilliant Minds continues to be a place where people feel genuinely cared for.
Outside of work and her studies, Mya loves travelling, cooking, going for walks and spending time with her husband, family, friends and her pups, German Shorthaired Pointers, Jaxon and Chester. She enjoys exploring new places, trying new foods and, most of all, spending quality time with the people closest to her.
