what is speech therapy?
At Brilliant Minds Psychology, our Speech Pathologists support individuals of all ages to communicate with confidence and to enjoy safe, comfortable eating and drinking. Speech Pathologists are university-trained allied health professionals who assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for communication and swallowing difficulties. We use evidence-based, client-centred therapy and assessment, tailored to the individual’s strengths, needs, and goals. Whether working with a toddler learning to speak, a child developing literacy skills, or an adult experiencing communication changes, our Speech Pathologists aim to make therapy engaging, supportive, and empowering.

OUR THERAPY ROOMS
- At Brilliant Minds Psychology, we have 12 therapy rooms, each thoughtfully furnished to feel like home so you can feel comfortable and at ease.
- Every room is equipped with:
- Individual air-conditioning controls, so you can set the temperature to your liking
- Refreshments, including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits.
- Adjustable lighting, with dimmable lights for softer or brighter settings depending on your preference.
