Meera completed her Undergraduate Psychology Degree at the University of Queensland and her Masters of Psychology (Education and Development) at Queensland University of Technology. Meera has registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Meera has worked across a variety of settings including university psychology clinics, private practices, public hospital psychology services, schools and rural towns within Queensland.
Meera has a passion for early intervention and will predominately be working with children, adolescents and their families at Brilliant Minds Psychology. Meera takes a holistic approach to therapy and takes the time to understand her clients and their life experiences before undertaking therapy and/or assessment. Meera is also passionate about attachment theory and utilises this in her psychological practice.
Meera has extensive training in the administration and evaluation of behavioural and educational assessments and she works closely with her clients to understand their goals before creating a plan to achieve their goals. Meera is calm and caring towards her clients and aims to support all of her clients so that they can achieve the best possible outcome out of therapy.
