- About Leila
- I completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours at Griffith University in 2025. I am the mother of a young boy who recently started school. I enjoy staying active and maintaining a healthy work–life balance.
- I am a passionate occupational therapist who takes a client-centred, occupation-based approach to practice. I value building rapport and fostering trusting professional relationships with clients and their families. I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals, participate in meaningful activities, and engage in the things they want, need, and are expected to do. Supporting people in becoming the best versions of themselves while maintaining their quality of life is at the heart of my practice.
- I have diverse experience working with people who are vision impaired across the lifespan. I have also gained clinical experience working with children and maternal mental health, supporting mothers during the postpartum period at Mater Hospital as part of a multidisciplinary team.
