About Kim
Kim has recently completed her 4+2 internship and become a generally registered psychologist with AHPRA. Kim is also a member for the Australian Psychological Society.
Kim completed a Bachelor of Psychology - with Honours in 2019 from Griffith University. The focus of her thesis in her honour’s year was exploring parents’ beliefs about portable-pool safety behaviours. Kim has also worked closely with indigenous 1st year students completing their psychology degree by tutoring and mentoring them whilst providing a safe and non-judgmental space to learn and grow.
Kim has completed a community based observational placement in 2019 with Gailes community care unit assisting patients who had been hospitalised due to their mental health and assisting them to transition back into society.
Kim more recently worked in disability and employment services throughout 2020 till 2022 in an organisation that supported jobseekers to overcome barriers such as mental health and disabilities to gain employment. Kim has been trained in vocational counselling, assessments and can assist clients to identify their career paths and suitable training courses.
Kim takes a client-centred approach to her work and is passionate about creating a safe and non-judgmental place for her clients, where she will walk alongside and motivate them to reach their personal goals, live their best life through strength-based interventions.

Anxiety
Kim is guided by evidence based interventions for depression and anxiety. Amanda adjusts all interventions to the child's developmental level. Kim recently completed a Creative Intervention workshop working with children with anxiety.
Resilience & Self Esteem
Kim enjoys working in the area of self esteem and helping children and teens develop resilience skills. Kim is guided by evidence based interventions.
Social Skills Training
Social skills training is a great way to learn some new skills. Let's face it we could all benefit from ongoing work on our social skills. Kim enjoys providing social and emotional skills intervention to children and teens..
