Chris is a Provisional Psychologist at Brilliant Minds Psychology, whilst also completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland. He considers it a privilege to work with clients across the lifespan to identify and cope with life's challenges, relate to themselves and others more meaningfully, and take full advantage of their considerable strengths. With a grounding in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, you can expect Chris to welcome you as a human being with your own complexities and nuances, and not as a set of diagnoses, problems, and coping strategies. His priority will be to meet you where you are at, in the here and now, without judgment or preconceptions.Chris is here to listen to you., to be curious and to help.

Anxiety Conditions & OCD
Chris sees children, adolescents and adults with anxiety conditions (click on the link for more about what is anxiety). Chris is guided by evidence based intervention including cognitive behaviour therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy approaches. Chris modifies intervention to the child's developmental level.
Mindfulness
Depression
Chris sees children & adolescents with depressive symptoms and low self esteem. Chris is guided by evidence based intervention including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Emotion Regulation
Chris enjoys working with children and youth. He provides interventions and therapuetic interventions focusing on emotional regulation, anger, adjustment, self esteem, reslience and loneliness.
ADHD & Behaviour Issues
Chris works with children and teens with ADHD and behaviour difficulties.
NDIS Clients
Chris sees clients under the NDIS. Brilliant Minds Psychology is a Registered NDIS Provider.
