- Bridie is a provisional psychologist completing her training to become a generally registered psychologist with AHPRA. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (first class) in 2020 and a Graduate Certificate of Counselling in 2021. Before Brilliant Minds, Bridie worked in the disability sector with NDIS participants who experienced severe mental health problems.
- Bridie works under an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy model and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy frameworks. Bridie also has an interest in Schema Therapy and Metacognitive Therapy.
- Bridie's best quality is that she is genuinely curious and open to learning. This means she works hard to understand the unique person that each client is, with consideration of the biological, social and psychological factors that might impact that person.
- Although Bridie takes a special interest in personality, anxiety disorders and sexual health issues, she loves working with a diverse range of clients and presenting problems.
- During her work, Bridie will be supervised by Dr. Jenni Silva, Clinical Psychologist/Director and Amanda Hawes, Senior Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Head of Assessment on the Brilliant Minds Psychology.
