Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for Weight management.
CBT aims to help change the way you think, feel and behave. CBT can help people lose weight by increasing motivation to eat well and to exercise; and to teach coping skills to help you manage stress/anxiety, which can help with reducing or stopping overeating. Some of the skills you will learn include changing thoughts and behaviours; learning to manage hunger and cravings; problem solving skills; stress management and coping; stopping or reducing emotional eating and learning to motivate yourself daily.
